if you're bold enough to drive on the crazy roads, Santorini is a great place to rent a car. you can explore red, black and white beaches, little cafes, etc. just don't try alternate routes to Oia- we followed less-than-official local signs to try to avoid the terrifying road carved into the cliff, and just ended up where we started, after a 45 degree climb up the mountainous terrain in our "fun" smart car. report a problem
