Want to get away from the tourists and experience old Florida charm? Visit Anna Marie Island - near Sarasota - there are several small family owned hotels where you can R E L A X and chill out on uncrowded beaches, walk to the pier where you can eat, fish or just enjoy the water and serenity. Talk to the locals, dine in small great eateries or grab a sandwich from the deli and have a beach picnic. There is a FREE trolley so you can travel around the island and see the sites. The beach has beautiful white sand and the sunsets are amazing! report a problem
