Actually applies to nearly any large city: Anyone low on funds or just desiring an inexpensive, hearty meal, head for the YMCA lunchroom. Lunch or dinner fare at the Kowloon YMCA is freshly made, cheap, filling, and not necessarily Asian food. report a problem

A similar idea is to eat at the cafeteria of colleges and universities. They typically are very resonably priced and offer a variety of foods.
