If you find yourself in the Loop, book yourself a boat ride to check out Chicago's impressive architecture. I believe there are several companies that offer this service. Most of which offer architectural cruises that last about an hour or so. When I was there, I was able to book a ride that left 30 minutes later; there are probably several departures every day (and probably double that on weekends). It's well worth the trip!
