- Always carry lots of small change - merchants often conveniently "don't have change". And by small change I mean small - 100 rupees or around $2 is a big bill in certain cases. - Before you go start dosing up on good probiotics and continue taking them during your travels, it won't protect you against everything but it'll help you avoid Delhi Belly and there's always Imodium in case of emergency! - Drinking only bottled water is obvious, but order sparkling water whenever possible (fresh lime soda is yummy), chances are it's legit and not a refill scam. - If you go for a traditional head massage, be prepared to be pummeled, shaken and vigorously rubbed. If you're looking for blissful relaxation find an ayurvedic center for sirodhara where they run warm oil onto your forehead! report a problem
