Take the bus, a taxi, or the hop on/off tour bus, to Kilmainan Jail. Best tour of our stay in Dublin. Hands down. Volunteers have refurbished this amazing old jail. The tour is a blend of history about society, poverty, the famine, and politics. This is where the leaders of the 1916 Easter Uprising were executed, and the site is now hallowed ground. We could have listed to Kieron, the guide, all day. report a problem
