An archeological dig is a great family activity

Kids as young as 5 can participate in an archeological dig at Beit Guvrin Naational Park on Tel Maresha. The dig, supervised by a graduate student, lasts only 3 hours. Adults and kids will love it as the site is full of artifacts waiting to be found. Kids will also love crawling through an unexcavated cave. The dig is in a cave so it's a great rainy day activity.
