For four Mondays during the month of May I attended a wine tourism workshop accompanied by over 25 licensed tour guides all interested in promoting wine touring in Israel.
The wineries vsited during that workshop were divided into wineries in the Carmel area, the Upper Galilee and the Golan .
An amazing statistic that gives a great sense of the variety of terroir in Israel is that a 840 km journey enjoying the variety of conditions for vine growing and wine production from Napa Valley north can be visited in the Northern Golan ,travelling the total distance of 43km. Now that's intense!
Graet combinations of wine touring and walking can be developed.
