Really, you should avoid Venice in the summer at all costs. If you can only go in the summer, try to find a hotel with air (you don't want to open you windows - BUGS!) and go out in the morning and evening. Venice is gorgeous, but cruise crowds and heat make it miserable mid-day. report a problem
