We took a cruise, that had the Amalfi Coast as a Port of Call. I had planned Guides, from the Internet before we took the trip, so we had my arranged meet with different guides at every port of call. We just stepped off the ship, then sat back, and they showed us places off the beaten path. If you can do this, because you pay for what you want and need, and safety is never an issue. You visit the best of each place, and make friends along the way. We had a great time, great food, and companions to boot. report a problem
