I visited Rome and thought is was crowded, expensive, and hot. Due to the exchange rate is it very expensive for U.S. tourists to visit. The streets are congested with cars and motorcycles. I could hardly cross the street without being hit by a car. The Vatican museum was so full of tourists I could hardly move. My hotel room was small and stuffy. I prefer to visit coastal cities in Italy, such as cities in Sicily. These cities are not crowded and you can relax. The Mediterranean Sea is beautiful to look at. report a problem
