Jamaica hotels
Jamaica's long tradition of innkeeping dates back to Victorian times, when visitors arrived by banana boat. You'll still find lots of classic small hotels on the island's north coast, but they're outnumbered these days by the huge, all-inclusive resorts in the western areas around Negril and Montego Bay (called MoBay here).
