My name is David and I am planning to be in Japan in March to May. This is a trip to discover a different side of Japan that the average tourist dose not get to see. I was in Japan 2 years ago and saw Kyoto, Takayama, Nara, Kiso Valley, Osaka, and Mt. Koyasan. All that I saw and did was amazing. I only had 2 weeks in this wonderful country and the only regret was that I did not have more time. So for the past year I have been saving money and getting into shape for an epic journey. I plan on hiking, sailing and hitch hiking my way around so of the more rural parts of Japan. Any advice on where to go in areas south of Tokyo? After I get this trip done I will go back in August for another 3 month stay in Hokkaido and the north of Tokyo. Also and ideas on finding a sponsore to help with some of the cost? Do not really need one just would like to slow the bleeding of money down a little. report a problem
