And no, I don't mean eat everything in sight. What I mean is try everything, and this doesn't just apply to food. My motto throughout our trip to Japan was "I came halfway around the world and who knows when I'll ever be back here, I may as well!" I may as well try the cow tongue. I may as well try to squeeze through the canal known as 'Buddha's Nose'. I may as well try a nude hot spring bath! I certainly didn't come all this way NOT to! My point is that when travelling abroad, especially to places with cultures foreign to you, take it all in and try everything. You may not like it all but that doesn't mean you're not learning and expanding your horizons. And isn't that the point of going in the first place? report a problem
