Our family just returned from two weeks in Hawaii -- one week in Kauai at the Waipouli Beach Resort and one in Maui. We want to go back to Kauai already!!! For a family of 5, there is no greater condo on the island. This is 1ST CLASS ALL THE WAY; from the bedding, to the kitchen, to the extravagant bathrooms. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful and for being in a busy part of the island, the peaceful solitude of this resort is FANTASTIC! The pool and grill and bar are terrific secrets only known to guests and some "in the know" locals! We've stayed in Princeville before but this beats that hands down for location and NEW CONSTRUCTION (there won't be any musty smells in these condos with their high tech humidity systems). Right in the middle of the island, we could go down to Poipu or up to Hanalei within the same amount of time. Having Safeway right across the street was a blessing with a family. If we could afford the $1,000,000+ price tag we would own one of these NOW! TIP: FOR true PEACE and QUIET the G Building units facing the OCEAN are the Best -- quiet and tucked away with a morning view everyone would love to wake up to! I almost don't want to give this BEST KEPT SECRET PLACE away -- Truly a Hawaiian ESCAPE! P.S. The kids loved the roosters and monk seal on the beach there! DINING TIPS: On Mondays, many restaurants in the area are closed. This is a good night to use the grills down by the pool or eat at the Grill and Bar at the Resort. With ocean views either way and an incredible view of the stars on a clear night, your vacation doesn't get much bettter than this! Relax & enjoy!
