We enjoyed three nights at the Little Governor's Camp in September 2009. The camp was unique and we didn't mind the boat ride across the Mara River up to three times a day.
Nor did we mind the walks back and through from the camp to the river through the forest area and up and down the steps on each side.
This would be a problem for someone with walking problems. Some of our group only made the trek once each way. The camp was able to provide them with alternate game drives on the camp side of the river.
The experience was greater than what we expected for tent living. If we could return for another safari, we would ask for the Little Governor's experience again.
We stayed in tent number 11. The wildlife was there night and day. Some people heard the animals at night around their tents and others knew they had been there by their droppings.
Enjoy your time in Kenya and on the Masai Mara
