I took a safari with Abercrombie and Kent where we spent part of out time staying in lodges and part camping. Camping was the best part because we were treated royally - you were 1 of 10 instead of 1 of 100+. We were completely pampered and were as comfortable as staying in a 4 star hotel. Plus by spending time camping you felt like you really got to know what the widerness was like and you had the excitement of occasionally having animals come into camp. If you go on a safari you need to spend at least a few nights camping. report a problem
