After nearly 500 hotels in five years I still don't know the definition of luxury; I suspect that it is different for everyone. Whether a hotel is an escape or the means to and end I can safely say that there are few, if any, better hotel experience to be had in the United States. No phones, no TV, no alarm clocks and nothing but simple serenity and the best hotel food I have ever enjoyed. Truly a unique experience and one I would recommend with full conviction.
