I've been to Las Vegas many times, heck I was married there. (still going strong after 23yrs). But a recent trip sent me to the west side of Vegas, Summerlin. We entered a whole different world, palm tree lined streets, strip mall full of upscale shopping and dining. We stayed at the JW Marriott which is very nice and caters to the convention business crowd, but has a wonderful pool. We had a fantastic dinner at Nora's Wine bar, you've got to see the wine list in this place. The next morning we made a visit to the Red Rocks Hotel & Casino - faboulous! Next trip to Vegas, I'm staying at the Red Rocks Casino. They operated a shutte bus to the airport too! It was a breath of fresh air away from the usual strip. report a problem
