The most economical way to eat out in London, is to eat at the pubs. You can order fish & chips, a ploughman's lunch, bangers & mash, shepard's pie, steak & kidney pie, depending upon the location. You can get a good, hearty lunch and a beer for about $10-12. Also, remember that you can't just order a "beer." It's usually ordered by the pint. Britain has great beer on tap and good hard cider. The pubs play American rock n'roll. report a problem
