I visited London in May and took advantage of the boat trip to Greenwich as part of the hop on hop off bus tour. The town was quaint and the market worth at least a quick look see. I was most impressed with the walk to the Maritime Museum and the environs. You pass the site where Henry VIII's castle was, now on the grounds of the College of Queen Mary, I believe. I never made it into the Maritime Museum, but the grounds were just lovely. Families were picnicking in Greenwich park and the view of the observatory was magnificent. Of course, it was a beautiful sunny day with billowy clouds dotting the sky. I recommend a trip to Greenwich highly, but if you come by boat, be sure to give yourself plenty of time, as it is a place you could spend the entire day.
