We moved to the MBH after a disappointing night at Casa Del Mar and thank goodness we did - it was wonderful. We were treated like royalty and were given a very generous upgrade (sadly the place was pretty empty). Our room was huge and LOVELY - fresh flowers, gorgeous bathroom, yummy bed, pillow with our initial on it!!! Only critiques I'd make, and they are very minor, is that the tube didn't have jets and the toiletries were berry flavored/scented, which is definitely not my thing. But who cares - the room was spectacular. And the BEST thing (and VERY important to me) was that it was QUIET. Construction outside and it was blissfully muffled - these folks made sure the building materials were solid and that the windows were soundproofed - THANK YOU. Much more so than the Montage Laguna Beach where you hear a lot. The food was good, though very overpriced in my opinion (both Parq and Conservatory). I'd suggest walking the couple blocks to the many other options in the neighborhood. This place is worth the visit at the currently discounted prices - big time.
