You can always spot the person who didn't know how to dress for Jazz Fest: the girl in her cute fashionable sundress and high heeled open toe sandals with the big designer purse and her escort in his cool linen dress slacks with Tommy Bahamaesque shirt. For starters, it's hot and humid and could even try dark shorts or light ones with underwear..........wet will be transparent. Then have a cool short-sleeved top of a light color to reflect the sun and hide those shoulders otherwise you'' ll develop "crayfish glow" by 7:00 PM when the Fest ends. Add to this flat open shoes for ventilation , a small wearable purse or fanny pack for hands- free to drink and eat, and a plastic poncho that fits inside that purse or fanny pack. Top with a hat of your choosing and sunglasses. And remember, put the sunscreen on before you leave the house or hotel.....apply as needed later in the day. Enjoy your comfortable very casual attire with your music and great food! report a problem
