After traveling to over 150 countries this all inclusive resort is a great way to relax
with family and friends. My husband and I with our 2 grand kids, ages
11 (boy) and his sister 9 just returned from a week stay. This is our 4th year in the same cottage over looking the ocean. It's like having your own cottage on the ocean with
a chef and house keeper. Quite a tradition.
We met another couple there on our first visit who had a daughter the same age as
our 9 year old and they have joined us there every year since.
This laid back place is like no where else. No one has to lock their doors at night,
Many of the people have been coming there for years. Great food including a huge
lobster bake with all the fixings. The large heated salt water swimming pool at the edge
of the sea is delightful. The girls had a couple of sailing lessons, went kayaking, rowing,
canoeing and hiking. There is so much to do each day that it is hard to tear yourself
away to check out the activities in lovely Booth Bay a few minutes away. We went
bowling in the countries oldest bowling alley, rode the train to a large antique car display,
went to the aquarium, shopping, mackerel fishing for 2 hours, went on a light house boat tour. All this at a fraction that you would expect to pay for all these services.
This may be the last of it's kind in New England.
