If you want to experience a genuine Mexican dinner in a genuine Mexican town, you'll want to visit "Roga's Tequila Restaurant" in Bucerias while you are staying in nearby Nuevo Vallarta. It's a beautiful place overlooking the Plaza and Catholic Church and chickens running around below you, but the best thing is the sunset over Banderas Bay. They will tell you not to come too early lest it be too hot and will recommend the perfect time to enjoy the sunset for dinner or cocktails. And the fresh salads! And the fresh shrimp-so large! And the Margaritas are made from scratch and not from a mix. At some point during your visit you will be invited to the Tasting Room to sample (and yes, buy if you like ) the various Tequilas. Mmmm! Good!! report a problem
