Las Ventanas al Paraíso, San José del Cabo
So far, tops on the list....

My wife and I took a November trip to Cabo and stayed at Las Ventanas. The hotel is excellent, the service top notch and the surroundings are outrageous. I have been to Cabo a few times and I have always heard, "don't go into the water, the undertow is dangerous and there are rocks everywhere." I spent a great amount of time at the beach at Las Ventanas and in the water most of the time. The surf was powerful, but no more dangerous than southern california. The location of the hotel is great, it's a short drive to downtown Cabo and there are golf courses in close proximity. On the last day we were there, they opened the new spa....you really need to go.
