Recently I read an article on artifical ripening techniques used by fruit sellers. A long list of chemicals which are banned world wide (but not in India) are used by these people looking to make a quick buck... Thankfully all is not bad...Farmers markets have been organised where you can buy foods directly from those who grow it... helping the farmers as well.. check this wonderful article out.. http://www.wherecity.com/articles/farmers-in-the-big-city-44.html report a problem
