You won't find much to buy on Nevis, but Charlestown has a small selection of local artisan's shops, which are usually open from 9 am to 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 9 am to noon on Saturdays. On St. Kitts, the best place to empty your pockets is at the Caribelle Batik Factory at Romney Manor, where you'll find fabrics waxed and dyed by hand alongside pre-Columbian rock drawings and a botanical garden. St. Kitts also has small pottery and crafts shops, plus duty-free jewelry and liquor throughout Basseterre.
