If you are not yet realising the value of social media- here's a valuable reason to get onto Twitter- I have just planned a 2 week Christmas Holiday in NYC and used Twitter to test best rates for 5 star hotels and instead of hunting online for hours to get good rates, the hotels responded to my query. I beat the best rates available on all the major hotel booking sites for 5 star hotels like New York Palace, Bryant Park, and at least 5 others by about $100 PER NIGHT! using Twitter.
