Public transportation maps are available from the concierge. But don't just get the subway maps. Get the bus maps too. I refer to the subway as subterranean travel and the bus as overland. Subterranean travel is quicker, no traffic jams, and high speed. But I thought you were in NY to see the sites. Overland you can see the sites. Who knows you may even see something you may want to visit later, something you missed in the tour guide. Part of the fun in NY is the people, the hustle and bustle, the street vendors. Don't miss out by being subterranean. report a problem
