If you are traveling to NYC by train from northern NY state, don't start your journey from the Plattsburgh train station. There is no parking for your cars! Instead just drive to Albany's train station. There is long-term parking there and the trip from Plattsburgh to Albany does not take all that long by car - all on the Northway - US Interstate 87. Then the trip by train to NYC does not take that long - maybe 3 or so hours from Albany. report a problem
