The Standard New York, Chelsea
Great restaurants, not so great rooms!

I stayed here because I was writing an article for my blog www.poshvoyage.com and I was VERY disappointed with the showers (all the room gets wet) and the size of the room is no bigger than 200sqf. With that said, the public areas are unbealivable. The hottest spots in NY are located in this hotel. CLUB: Boom Boom Room and Le Bain, RESTAURANT: Standard Grill, BAR: Beer Garden. If you are looking for a fun time in NY, stay here, but book nothing less than a suite.
