Don't listen to those people who say to visit NZ during their summer months...this is an amazing country all year around! I recommend that you go in the off season to avoid the crowds and have a better experience. For those of you who are adventurous, I suggest getting on the hop-on-hop-off busses. You don't have to be an 18 year old backpacker to enjoy the ride. They take you to every corner of both islands and help you book the various tours at a slightly discounted rate. I loved my two months in NZ and I went in their late winter, early spring. Just Amazing! report a problem
