I visited New Zealand in April, 09 and I thought Queenstown was the greatest place on Earth! Sure, it is a bit expensive for university students like myself but it seems that everyone there is in the same boat! When I was there, most of the people were young adventure seeking students or backpackers. I did both the ledge bungy and the kawaru bridge bungy; I didn't have enough time to do the Nevis. (Correction above: the ledge bungy is NOT 1300 ft! Rather the bungy is located 1300 ft above Queenstown, the bungy itself is only around 150 feet). The ledge was great because they allow you to jump any way you want. I jumped at night and did a gainer flip off it; what a rush! If you are going to Queenstown, make sure you spend about a week to 2 weeks there. I was only there for 2 days which wasn't even close to enough time to do everything I wanted! Also, if while you are there, you find yourself wanting to not throw yourself off the edge of this high structure with an elastic band around your ankles, stop thinking about it and just let go...you will thank yourself later!
