Acapulco + the Coast nightlife
No Moleste (Do Not Disturb) signs hang on hotel doors until noon in Acapulco, the undisputed nightlife capital of Mexico. Fluorescent green laser beams and cascading fireworks blast above the darkened bay late at night, when club crawlers strap on their stilettos and prance toward bouncers outside discos and bars. Cover charges range from $20 to $30, often with an open bar for the price; in the more posh clubs, however, bottle service remains popular among the see-and-be-seen crowd. Several of the hottest nightspots are clustered between Las Brisas and the Costera, in the hills edging Bahía de Acapulco, where nights tend to go something like this: Dinner at 10 pm, hit the clubs after midnight, gather at the taco stands for breakfast after dawn.
