Gem of a small museum

Musee Maillol is a gem. Located on Rue de Grenelle near its intersection with Rue du Bac in the 6th, it combines a lovely permanent collection (sculptures and paintings by Maillol and much else 19th and 20th centure art) with some wonderful special exhibitions. A treat for a (prefrably rainy) hour or two when one wants to see some art, but doesn't feel like taking on one of the major museums. report a problem
