An anniversary meal for my wife and I. We started with Vintage Champagne-Henriot 1990--150 euros.
Lobster Bretagne-- 130 euros-- served shelled and chilled had no real flavor and no sauce to compensate.
Veau ala florentine--90 euros-- perfectly presented but again no real flavor, depth or character to the entree at all. We couldn't believe they were serving this.
Agneau regions-- The lamb sliced tableside, a perfect medium rare, was served in on a plate of vegetables in an almost clear stock had very little flavor to speak of. If bland cuisine was in vogue this is the restaurant to attend.
My wife and I were so dissapointed, I told our waiter that my wife was not feeling well, paid the check and left to eat at a nearby brasserie. PERHAPS SOMEONE CAN ENLIGHTEN ME IN WHAT THEY SEE IN THE CUISINE IN THIS RESTAURANT BECAUSE IT WAS VERY BUSY AND WE WERE THE ONLY ONES I COULD SEE WHO WERE DISAPOINTED AND ANGRY. I must be getting to spoiled and experienced. THIS WAS SCAM CUISINE NOT HAUTE CUISINE.
