Willing to pay a premium to be treated badly? This is the place for you!

The experience we had last Friday night left us wondering why would someone agree to be treated with disdain and disrespect and would still be willing to be paying a premium for it.
My husband and I live in Paris and we've had the opportunity to visit and enjoy the experience at great restaurants all over the world. I must admit that until last Friday I hadn't seen such a snob, snotty and incompetent restaurant service. We booked a table for 2 at 10:30 pm ( ! ), arrived at 10:25 pm and were re-directed to a hotel lobby outside the restaurant - to wait. For more than 1 hour. A cocktail of monklike patience and lethargy must have taven over our brains, because we did indeed wait until we snapped back to reality and went back into the restaurant to collect our coats. The maitre then looked surprised and told us that he was ready to call us. Bad lier; he had simply ignored us! He didn't even had the care to come one single moment to tell us anything. Pathetic. For those of you who are on Prozac, or have a low self-esteem (or both) enjoy your night out at L'Atelier Joel Robuchon Paris 7eme.
If you do not fall into any of the above categories, rest assured that there are other exceptional restaurants in Paris, that will be willing to appreciate your business!
