In the summer of 1969, I spent the summer in Paris taking classes at the Sorbonne. My wife, being a French teacher had classes at the real Sorbonne. Me, being a neophite, had debutante classes at a nearby Lycee. From our student residence we got off our bus on the "Boul Mich" (Boulevard St. Michel) My wife headed to the Sorbonne, but "POOR ME", I had to walk through the Luxembourgh Gardens to my school. What a wonderful Garden. The article didn't mention the entrance on Boul Mich. or the St. Michel Metro station. It didn't mention the wonderful palace on the right as one enters. It didn't mention the wonderful pool in the Gardens where so many young children had their toy sail boats. Nor did they mention the wonderful puppet shows for the kids. Also, no reference to the Joan D'Arc Statue in the park given by the USA. Nuff said, I guess, but what a wonderful two way walk I had for 6 wks/
