We went to Peru for our honeymoon for 3 weeks - best trip we've ever taken. The highlight of the entire trip was our stay in the Sacred Valley at a little B&B called The Greenhouse. What a place - SPECTACULAR view, gourmet food, most comfortable room we've stayed in (and we stayed in pretty nice hotels) and the best shower (plenty of hot water and enough water pressure to power-clean your dog). It's the best location to base yourself for day trips around the Sacred Valley, and helpful to acclimatize before going to Cusco. We stayed here 2 nights but wished we stayed for a week (or more...). Plus, the British owners are the nicest and most helpful people you'll meet in Peru. It was the most relaxing place we've ever stayed in and some of the best food we ate in Peru (and that's saying something). The best part: it was $50 a night. report a problem
