March is a fantastic time to travel to Peru. Though technically the rainy season, it is at season's end. The weather is usually beautiful and the landscape is greener than at other times of year. report a problem

I went to Peru in April 2012 and couldn't have been happier! We saved money by booking at the end of the rainy season and only experienced occasional rain showers. While we were at Machu Picchu it rained and lot of the other visitors left. We stuck it out in the dining hall up there and we're rewarded with being only one of about 100 people there! The fog was climbing back up into the sky after the rain and provided for some beautiful pictures!
