Phoenix + Scottsdale

I came to Arizona traveling from out of town, a friend of mine had given me a recommendation for the Mondrian and I absolutely loved it! The staff was remarkably helpful and quick to respond with any request that I needed all weekend long. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. I really enjoyed my time lying out in by the pool in the sun during the week. It was so much fun hanging out and relaxing, by the time the weekend came the pool was a party filled with DJ’s and drinks. All around we had a great time at the pool, but that is what we wanted out of our stay. If you’re looking for something similar then I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to unwind and have some fun. After that, the massages we received from the spa were excellent and definitely worth it and also loved the scene even more! On our second evening in Arizona we went out for a great dinner at their restaurant Asia de Cuba. Their menu was an exotic blend of Asian and Cuban cuisine that was more than delicious. We noticed that there were two different nightclub bar scenes in the hotel also. Our favorite was the Midnight Room, which had an indoor-outdoor scene with trendy cabanas set up outside and a huge fireplace around the corner. If you like to dance, then you will love the DJ here. This was a great way to finish up our day. The location is fabulous because it’s walking distance to so many great places in Scottsdale like: old-town Scottsdale, tons of restaurants, night clubs, and many art galleries and museums to enjoy during the day. The crowd at the Mondrian is fairly young and hip, filled with tons of beautiful people. This is definitely a hot party spot, and not for people with the faint at heart. I can’t wait to come back to Arizona and stay here again.
