The Grand Canyon is on the must see list for many. It is breathtaking. But many places at the Canyon are under construction and reconstruction. it is best to hold off for a year or two. Instead I recommend Sedona. Sedona is about 1 hr from the Canyon (and a little closer to Phoenix and Scottsdale). The history and sites of the Red Rock is not comparable, anywhere. To get the full impact and the red rocks up close and personnal, I recommend a jeep tour. Specially the one I recommend is the Pink Jeep Tour company. They have many different tours running continuously all year. My favorite tour is ancient ruins. This is a must see at least once in your lifetime. report a problem
