Questionable Security

stayed at the Stary in August 2008 and would never stay there again. On the third night of a five night stay my locked hotel room was broken into and my laptop and camera stolen. The hotel did not call the police, I had to have a Polish colleague whom I was working with do this. The only way to enter the room was with a key card issued by the hotel, the hotel room had been entered with such a key card. The hotel manager seemed unconcerned and would not offer compensation until after the police were done with their reports: I have not heard a thing from the hotel manager since and am still waiting for compensation from the hotel... I was not even offered a change of room which left me feeling very vunerable. Very bad service and attitude for a 5 star hotel and raises concerns about their security. Please note that in August there was no security cameras anywhere in the hotel
