Porto restaurants
In addition to the individual restaurants listed here, good food is available simply by trolling the Ribeira, the liveliest dining area in Porto. Besides Dom Tonho, there's a wide range of other restaurants, including Casa Aleixo, where the setting and menu are ordinary but the food is anything but (216 Rua da Estação; 351-225-370-462; open daily, dinner only on Sundays), and Chez Lapin, which attracts an arty, flighty crowd and serves excellent meals (40–42 Rua dos Canastreiros; 351-222-006-418; open daily 10 a.m.–2 p.m.).
