Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza, San Juan

Honestly, while the description makes it sound pretty appealing, the best part of the Condado Plaza is the presence of Pikayo. Rooms are average in quality with tiny bathrooms, repairs need to be made to many small amenities (slow drain in sink and shower, hair dryer with broken on-off switch). In short, there's a lack of attention to "creature comforts" that would be nice to have. It's not dreadful. It's just not what I expected based upon the Concierge review. Based upon my own preferences, even though I'm sure it's more $ I would recommend the recently re-opened Vanderbilt Condado down the street. It's beautiful, well-kept, with service at the level we all want on a tropical trip.
