My husband and I, made reservations a day before going to 311 at 8pm. They accommodated our request immediately. On arrival, we had to request the chef tasting. Obviously, they don't advertise this too much, but THEY SHOULD. We had a wonderful 7 course meal. I am a big time foodie doing chef tastings and this was great. They even included the froie gras. My husband didn't care much for the chef tasting because he is a steak and potatoe guy, (he enjoys ruth chris or mortons) however on the last course we got filet mignon and he was all smiles. I got the wine pairing with my courses while my husband didn't. All I have to say is WOW!! I have gone to chef tasting dinners in Cincinnati, New Orleans, Tampa and now San Juan and I was not disappointed at all. What I am so surprised about is how "kept secret" this place has been. The place was pretty much empty when we went there and to have the place and the waiting staff soooo attentive is amazing. I recommend this place soo much! In fact, my husband and I are coming to puerto rico for new years eve weekend and we plan on eating here again. You'll never be disappointed if your a foodie. Also, if you do the chef tasting, they will ask what you don't like -- we told them lamb, but forgot to tell them also raw food. Our first course was tuna tartare which I ate all of it. But that is what is so great about doing the chef tasting. They gear it around what you like.
