Think the crepes in France are good? Wait until you head to Sperlonga. An hour train ride away from Rome is this pristine coastal town, which is the perfect escape from the bustling city. It is a local's destination that can get quite busy during the summer months. But fear not, as it will not be mobbed with your typical tour groups. Once settled in on the beach, head to Dolce Gelato, a small gelateria that sits in the square off of Via Cristofaro Columbo. The crepes are the perfect treat to satisfy a sweet craving.
