I have posted before, and after reading the recommendations for restaurants in Rome, I would like to add one that I have been going to for years, and it has remained consistent throughout. Re Degli Amici on Via Croce, near the Spanish Steps. At the boat in the Piazza de Spagna, looking down Via Condotti, go right about one block to Via Croce. Make a left and its about half way down the street, with a large linear green neon sigh. They have the longest anti pasta table I have ever seen, at least 20 offerings. The food is fantastic, beautiful artwork on the walls, the waiters have been there for years, and the price is relatively inexpensive. Pasta, Fish, whatever you want, they have it and its all delicious. I have made this recommendation to many of my friends, and they were never disappointed. Try it!!!
