I've been to San Diego numerous times and have stayed in different places each time, including the Gas Lamp District, Hotel Circle, Mission Bay, and more. But my favorite was the Gas Lamp District because we could walk to almost everything. Our hotel room was small, but we were surrounded by cute shops and quaint restaurants with outdoor seating. My husband was at a conference, so I walked with the kids all over town and we were never bored. We even walked to Seaport Village and the shopping plaza. There is much to see and do in and around San Diego, but if you want to ditch the car, stay in the Gas Lamp District. report a problem
